It never ceases to amaze me how much our group of media volunteers at FBC Snellville love to serve. We require any where form 10-12 volunteers each Sunday to pull off a 4 camera
shoot with CG on front and back wall. Even with summer vacations and a normal rotation we always have people stepping up. It’s been cool to stick to our commitment of “more volunteers requires less per month allowing all to attend bible study and worship more often per month”.
We currently use an “old school” spreadsheet via email for our weekly scheduling. We’ve been testing Planning Center Online with some success. Check it out.
Good stuff. Suggestion for you: for folks new to audio, video, digital media, etc. maybe you should provide a glossary page with definitions and explanations of words and concepts that may be new to them. For example, CG. You may get some readers that don’t know what that means. Keep it up.
