Welcome. Few comments about this blog and the author. I was attracted to media for ministry in the late 90’s through a PowerPoint slide. I know, I know… Well, this was back when our little town here in east Metro-Atlanta had no Starbucks (the thought!). Well 10 years and four Starbucks later God placed me smack dab in the middle of full time media related work – all tied to ministry in some form or fashion.
In addition to ministering and overseeing media (and 50+ volunteers) for a large (the word mega is overused…) church, I have also represent several companies that provide everything from media related equipment integration (audio, video and lighting equipment) to companies that specialize in website design, construction and web presence. I currently serve as a Ministry Media Strategist for 316 Networks providing the best in live web casting and video on demand services and online media consulting for ministry. We also assist ministries in branding and leveraging the new social networking media tools so prevalent on the web.
